BCA were involved in the York Minster Revealed project the largest heritage/restoration project of its type in Europe. 

A major restoration of stonework and stained glass is under way, along with a new Undercroft exhibition hall, improved access and visitor facilities and an upgrade to electrical and lighting infrastructure. 

The work is being carried out with the assistance of a £10M grant from the heritage lottery fund. The Chapter House Yard buildings have already been completely renovated internally to provide improved staff, operational and visitor welfare facilities. 

The exhibition spaces within the Nave Undercroft exhibition area and Treasury are being completely replaced to provide totally new interpretation stories and facilities, with enhanced access facilities, extensive visitor interactivity and much improved environmental control.

The flexibility of the main Nave of the Minster has recently beeen enhanced to provide temporary interpretation facilities and areas within the Lady Chapel, new ticketing/visitor reception facilities and a replacement lighting and control scheme.

The power distribution, lighting, alarm systems, and all communication networks are currently being enhanced to provide for the new facilities and improve the flexibility of the infrastructure networks.
